Jena’s background revolves around individualizing the needs of her clients and making them feel cared for and the only person in the room. She is passionate about insuring all brides, regardless of size, age or style, feel not only at home in her boutique, but welcomed and have an experience of a lifetime as they find their dream wedding dress or the perfect gown for their special occasion.

Jena purchased Merrime in September 2021 when her vision of owning her own business, and becoming a part of the historic downtown Albany community, became a reality. Creating connections and meeting families and friends from all over the Pacific Northwest and country has been a dream come true!

The icing on the cake is partnering with her daughter. Kira has become an integral part of Merrime Bridal and we are lucky to have her!

Boutique Manager & Stylist

Rose joined our team with a wide variety of experiences working in the bridal industry from baking cakes to wedding planning and coordinating but working as a stylist makes her heart sing!! Rose loves witnessing brides feeling they're most beautiful and imagining themselves on their wedding day.

When Rose isn’t a Stylist at Merrime, she’s an ASL interpreter! Her heart for assisting others and making sure everyone has the same opportunities is so important to her.

Rose’s best bridal advice is to keep an open mind about trying on gowns of all different silhouettes, sparkle levels, colors, lace/no lace! Dresses never look the same on the hanger or on the model than on an actual body! You never know what you might fall in love with!

Assistant Buyer

Kira spent her first two years as a Stylist and Marketing Director for Merrime Bridal and now works behind the scenes to assist in buying decisions. Highlights are always the fashion shows and bridal markets in Chicago, Las Vegas, and Spain!

Kira believes in trying every single dress in the store that will fit on her body so she understands how the dresses fit and feel. She is easily able to identify which dresses will fit on body types as well as based on what our clients share about their vision for their big day. Kira recommends our brides come in with an open mind and are willing try on different styles. Social media provides amazing inspiration, but once on your body it may look different and you may decided on a completely different silhouette than you imagined yourself wearing.

Stylist

Alexa has come to love all things bridal, playing dress-up with wedding gowns makes her glow. She adores watching brides sign the “I said Yes” dress, most of them writing their new last name for the first time. But Alexa’s most favorite thing? She loves getting to know a brides personality and has fun finding the perfect gown to match them.

She moved to Oregon after stints in England, Italy, Israel, California and her home state of Texas. She is currently in graduate school to become a counselor, which makes her an incredible bridal stylist.

Alexa believes in the Merrime process! She wants you to know that your stylist is always listening to you, and you can trust her if she pulls a wildcard. Always be willing to try gowns on and be honest about how you feel in them.
